BC 110 - Introduction to the Creative Economy

Credits: 4
An immersive course examines the definition and history of the creative economy, the sharing economy, the gig economy, contemporary creative enterprise models, and their impact on today’s society and global economy. Students explore core themes of the Creative Economy including creativity, authorship, intellectual property and ownership, Production process, labor, ethics, globalization, culture, and politics as it pertains to our field.
