This course highlights the fundamentals of oral communication, students with the ability to articulate ideas clearly and persuasively in various speaking situations. Students will gain the ability to perform and critically analyze oral communication skills across multiple formats, ensuring their messages resonate with diverse audiences. Topics include audience analysis, content discovery, communication strategies, arrangement of ideas, evidence and reasoning support, language and style, vocal delivery skills, and ethical communication considerations.
