CC 263 - Argument and Advocacy

This course explores the principles of argumentation and advocacy, with the goal of training students to persuasively present and defend positions on various issues. The course examines the disciplines of debate and advocacy, aiming for students to leave with the ability to construct and deconstruct arguments using critical thinking and effective communication skills. Topics include the development of logical frameworks, highlighting logical fallacies, deep dives into various forms of support/evidence and participation in debates on current political and legal issues.
