CC 345 - Public Affairs Matrix: Media, Politics, and AdvocacyCredits: 4 This course is an advanced study of the interplay of media, politics, policy, and advocacy. Through historical and contemporary case studies and research, students examine a variety of constituencies affecting politics and public policy and the role the media play in political, public policy, and advocacy debates. Propaganda is defined and its role in affecting public opinion is discussed. The course studies the relationship between communicator, media, and key constituencies with a focus on ethical, effective use of public affairs.
