CC 361 - Public Diplomacy and Grass Roots Activism

Introducing the evolving field of public diplomacy, this course provides students with a comprehensive understanding of public diplomacy’s significance in international relations and  practice. The class covers theoretical foundations and practical applications, offering insights into how countries communicate with foreign publics to influence perceptions and build relationships. Through exploring strategies, tools, and case studies of public diplomacy in action, students learn to appreciate diplomacy’s power and limitations. This course prepares students for roles in international communication, equipping them with the knowledge and skills to engage effectively in the global arena.
