CD 403 - Speech ScienceCredits: 4 This course presents core concepts, terminology, and mechanics related to the physiological processes and acoustic features of speech production and perception. Acoustic phonetics is emphasized, including the physics of sound and inferences about voicing and resonance features of speech sounds from sound spectrograms. Students will get exposure to instrumentation for acoustic analysis and its applications.
