DA 338 - Intermediate Musical Theatre Dance TechniqueCredits: 2 Designed for students who have mastered fundamentals in multiple dance styles (such as jazz, tap, hip hop, and modern dance) and wish to apply acting skills to their dancing. Students learn specific techniques for storytelling and portrayal of characters through movement, while also continuing to grow their strength, precision, flexibility, and coordination as dancers. Students will also learn audition skills relevant to musical theater dance.
Course Restrictions: Requires permission of Dance Area Head. Liberal Arts Perspective(s): Note(s): Students may repeat this course one time for credit.
