JR 241 - Radio JournalismCredits: 4 Students learn how to write, report, and produce radio news including international, national, and local news. They learn the process of developing story ideas and gathering and organizing information in a way acceptable for broadcast. Students learn how different types of news stories are reported on radio in short form, breaking news, long form, and podcasting. They identify newsmakers and develop further understanding of the broadcast news field. Professionalism, integrity, and accuracy are practiced at all times.
