MK 480 - Capstone: The Integrated Marketing Communications CampaignCredits: 4 Provides a culminating, integrative experience for majors. Students are organized into teams and challenged to develop and execute a complete integrated marketing communications strategy and campaign plan for an existing client, organization, and/or brand. The work is presented both live and in writing, as it would be in a commercial context. One section of the spring semester course is designed around the annual competition of the American Advertising Federation, in which a team of Emerson majors has traditionally played a significant role.
Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): One course from Methods and Insights (MK 332 , MK 333 , MK 334 , MK 336 ), one course from Managing Marketing Communication (MK 342, MK 343 , MK 344), and one course from Campaign Practices (MK 351, MK 352 , MK 353 , MK 354 , MK 355 , MK 357 , MK 358). Course Restrictions: Senior standing Liberal Arts Perspective(s): Note(s): Seniors may only complete MK 480 Capstone on the Boston campus.
