Focuses on nonfiction writing techniques for magazine media. Students research, write, and market short-form stories, such as profiles, features, opinion essays, and service pieces. Students also learn the basics of interviewing people.

Note(s): May be repeated once for credit. May be used to fulfill one 200-level WR (writing) workshop on the degree audit.
