PS 301 - Personal Growth and AdjustmentCredits: 4 Reviews the recent shift in psychology from the classic disease or medical-model perspective to a “strengths-based” model emphasizing well-being and adjustment. Examines this theoretical development, but also explores the proposed conditions that enhance well-being, support resilience, and allow individuals and communities to thrive. Topics include intention and mindfulness, self-efficacy, self-regulation, creativity and flow, and attachment and love.
