VM 324 - Topics in Screenplay GenresCredits: 4 Studies a given genre from the perspective of the screenwriter. Working in a specific genre, students write a treatment, an original outline for a feature film, and up to the first half of a script in the specific genre. Honing critical skills, students engage in analytical and aesthetic discourse about their own work, as well as material written by others. Recent topics have included: Female Driven Screenplay, Thriller! Mystery! Suspense, and Sci-Fi Screenwriting.
