Special advanced offerings explore topics in U.S. History. Topics focus on historical research drawing on multi-pronged research methods, for example, working with primary and secondary sources, material culture, oral history, and historiography. The courses provide both greater context and deeper engagement with the sorts of preliminary ideas discussed in the 200-level History courses.
