JR 373 - TV News ReportingCredits: 4 Students work in the field to research, shoot, write, and edit 5 video news stories for television news in categories of hard news, societal impact, feature story, sidebar story or event and culminating with a story of the student’s choice. They develop reporting and interviewing skills, visual acuity, writing for the eye and ear, and general TV performance abilities. Students pitch stories and also learn and utilize the technical aspects of video shooting and editing, receiving instructor feedback on each story before moving on to the next story.
