LI 310 - Advanced Topics in Latin American Literature

Credits: 4
Focuses on advanced topics in Latin American literature and may cover such topics as Latin American Nonfiction, Border and Borderlands, Cuba and the United States, Latin American Women Writers, and Latin American “Boom” Literature. Students learn to analyze Latin American literatures, their aesthetic characteristics, and the geopolitical contexts that produce them.

Prerequisite(s): One 200-level Literature course
Course Restrictions: Junior standing

Note(s): May be repeated for credit if topics differ.
