TH 245 - Scene Design I

Introduces the fundamental elements of Scene Design. Combines a core of visual, practical and analytical tools necessary to develop and communicate design ideas in the theatre industry. Through this course, students will gain an understanding of the design process and the documentation required in the industry. The focus is on creative thinking, authentic research, visual storytelling, and the practices of sketching, model building and drafting. Students are expected to provide appropriate materials as needed.
