Expanding on the skills developed in Electrics I, this course delves deeper into lighting technology, electrical principles, and the responsibilities of a theatrical electrician. Students will refine their technical proficiency by working with advanced control systems, intelligent lighting, and power distribution methods while emphasizing best practices for safety and efficiency. Additionally, the course introduces key aspects of production electrics, including creating and managing lighting paperwork, budgeting for productions, and leading electrics crews. Through hands-on projects and real-world applications, students will gain the skills necessary to take on leadership roles in electrics and prepare for professional work in the field.
