TH 200 - Design Collaboration

This intermediate design course builds a bridge between discipline-specific design classwork and the execution of a fully formed, complete design and production. TH200 is structured to provide students with the skills to effectively design and collaborate on a theatrical production. It combines the exploration of visual and aural storytelling, and creative collaboration with a foundation in the practical and communicative skills necessary to build the physical and audible world of the play. This course is based on teamwork to produce two plays from first reading to load-in. Students will practice collaborations and interactions with construction shops, technicians, production teams, and with each other as colleagues and peers.
