TH 316 - Playmaking/Teaching/PlaymakingCredits: 4 This course is designed to provide an intensive introduction and exploration of playmaking with young people, ages 8-21. The course offers a variety of approaches to developing original material with students, and identifies strategies for integrating curriculum topics and playmaking, as well as social, personal, and societal exploration. The role of playmaking as culturally relevant curriculum is addressed.
Course Restrictions: Restricted to Sophomores and above. Restricted to students in the BFA in Theatre Education and Theatre Education and Performance. Other students with a Performing Arts major may register with permission of the instructor. Liberal Arts Perspective(s):
