CD 245 - Deaf CultureCredits: 4 This course is designed to offer students the opportunity to develop knowledge and understanding of the Deaf community and its culture. Weekly modules cover pertinent topics through lectures and conversation/discussion. Culture is addressed across three major areas: History (Linguistic and Cultural Development), Cultural Norms (Social and Language Traditions), and Community (Arts and Advocacy) to provide students with a thorough understanding of Deaf Culture.
