Drafting II builds on the foundational skills developed in Drafting I, focusing on advanced computer-aided drafting techniques using Vectorworks. Students will refine their abilities to create professional ground plans, sections, elevations, and isometric views. The course introduces 3D modeling and rendering, equipping students with tools to represent theatrical designs in three dimensions. Emphasis will be placed on reinforcing skills learned in hand drafting, including line weights, dimensioning, and graphic standards, while expanding creative and technical proficiency in CAD.
