MB 472 - Entrepreneurship ICredits: 8 credits This is the first course for students in the Entrepreneurial Studies minor and immerses students in the process of creating and launching a new venture. Students explore and experience the process of entrepreneurial thinking and creative problem solving, within a framework that includes ideation, customer acquisition, target markets, monetization, startup costs and ethics. Startup marketing and public relations strategies are presented in addition to basic financial, business, social and human resource issues. Experts in the business world provide additional mentoring and practical knowledge. Prerequisite: sophomore standing. (Fall)
