PA 125 - Performing Improvisational ComedyCredits: 4 credits Explores the fundamentals of improvisation for comedic performance through the use of games and exercises in a fast-paced, challenging learning environment. Guides students through the fundamentals of short form improvisation, focusing on building trust and spontaneity, and exploring aspects and techniques of storytelling, ensemble playing, movement, developing characters (status and emotion) and using space. Students explore other forms of improvisation, including solo performance improvisation, structured audience interactive improvisation, and longer forms of improvisation. Prerequisite: PA 121, TH 121, or TH 123.
