TH 423 - Action TheaterCredits: 4 credits Action Theater™ is a training system in physical theater improvisation that integrates vocal, physical, and verbal skills while connecting to the agility of the imagination. Exercises isolate the components of action-time, space, shape, and energy-so they can be examined, experienced, and altered in order to expand the expressive range and palette. The work provides tools to examine one’s perceptive and responsive process, and address habits that limit one’s ability to remain embodied, engaged, and in the moment. Students apply these skills to structured solo and ensemble improvisational performance.
Prerequisite(s)/Course Restrictions: TH 222 .
