CC 406 - Sports Media, Broadcasting and EnterpriseCredits: 4 credits Students are exposed to the world of advanced sports media including the various on- and off-air positions that make the business work. Students learn the sports radio side of writing, updates, talk show producing; and preparation for radio and TV play by play, analysis, and sideline reporting, as well as, creating pre-game and post-game shows. The course explores the business and the performance sides of Sports Broadcasting by exploring real world and real time situations. Mediums such as TV, radio, and social and new media are explored. Prerequisites: junior standing and CC 242 or CC 331 . (Semester varies)
