VM 131 - Foundations Practice

Students explore and experiment with visual and media art production techniques and technologies within a critical framework. Effective project management skills are implemented to work through stages of the creative process as students produce work using tools while considering conceptual, ethical, and aesthetic decisions. An interdependence between media theory and practice is explored through co-enrollment in Approaches to Media Studies and Foundations: Practice. VMA Majors only.
