LI 401 - Topics in PoetryCredits: 4 Courses focus on the study of prominent and emerging poets and schools of poetry. Emphasis is on exploring the intersection between individual technique and aesthetic traditions, from the formal to the avant-garde to culturally and politically conscious expressions of the art. The course is principally concerned with poets writing in the English language, though important figures from other language traditions may be read in translation.
