Covers trade promotions such as price and volume discounting, feature and co-op advertising, and in-store displays as well as such consumer tactics as coupons, memberships, giveaways, and value-added offers. Also looks at trade shows and placed-based gatherings. Considers both business-to-business and business-to-consumer applications.
