TH 436 - Burning Down the House: Disruptive Narratives in Theatre and Life

Credits: 4 credits
Examines dramatic texts that break forms and create new dramatic possibilities. Investigates current issues facing contemporary drama around the politics of representation. Compares and contrasts different types of narrative storytelling to assess how genre (theatre, literature, film) influences structure, form, and emotional impact.

Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): TH 215  or TH 216 . Junior status required.
