TH 343 - Sound Design IICredits: 4
Building on the experience of Sound Design I, students practice advanced methods of sound creation and reinforcement in support of a theatrical experience. Through script analysis and further exploration of the emotional qualities of sound and music, students solidify their ability to create a powerful sound design that supports a production, works cohesively with other design elements, and provokes an emotional response. Exploring advanced sound system design will provide students with the ability to execute their designs effectively in any theatrical setting.
