Dance Minor

This minor requires 16 credits of coursework that combines dance theory, dance technique, and experience in the creative process within the discipline. Students are required to take the following courses (Note: all dance technique courses require an in-person discussion with and permission of the dance area head):

DA 203 - Global Perspectives in World Dance
DA 231 - Choreography
8 credits Dance Technique (four 2-credit courses) from DA 233 , DA 234 , DA 235 , DA 236 , DA 237 , DA 238 , DA 331 , DA 333 , DA 335 , DA 336 , DA 337 , DA 338 . All Dance Technique classes are repeatable once for credit and both semesters may count towards the minor.
