CC 322 - Competitive DebateCredits: 1 non-tuition credit As a co-curricular class, competitive debate focuses on developing skills for collegiate debate through research, practice, and participation in regional/national debate tournaments. The hands-on co-curricular sharpens students’ argumentation, research, and public speaking skills, preparing them for the ability to effectively construct and defend their arguments in a variety of contexts. Activities include debate research, strategy development, and team travel to tournaments.
Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): CC 263 Liberal Arts Perspective(s): Note(s): May be repeated. Only 4 non-tuition credits may be used toward graduation. Course is graded Pass/Fail and does not count toward any major, minor, or Liberal Arts requirement. Foundations Requirement(s):
