CC 322 - Competitive Debate

Credits: 1 non-tuition credit
As a co-curricular class, competitive debate focuses on developing skills for collegiate debate through research, practice, and participation in regional/national debate tournaments. The hands-on co-curricular sharpens students’ argumentation, research, and public speaking skills, preparing them for the ability to effectively construct and defend their arguments in a variety of contexts. Activities include debate research, strategy development, and team travel to tournaments.
