SC 310 - Science in Translation: Health and GeneticsCredits: 4 Students refine and broaden their ability to interpret scientific language and communicate critical scientific content to others. Interactions with members of the local biomedical research community guide explorations into specific topics in contemporary genetics and health and into the needs of effective science communication. Examination of science storytelling informs understanding of how scientists and science are represented and the science of science communication is applied to guide project work that communicates scientific content for public consumption in a variety of mediums.
