CD 640 - Culturally-Responsive Practices in CSDCredits: 1 Learners in this course will apply key concepts related to culture and its dimensions to SLP practice. They will apply a culturally responsive framework(s) (e.g, social determinants of health, social model of disabilities, etc.) to clinical cases related to assessment, intervention, and/or documentation with various speech, language, and/or communication disorders across the lifespan. Additional topics may include advocacy, public health, and the promotion of anti-oppressive and inclusive clinical services to guide effective and sustainable practices in the field.
