LI 309 - Topics in US Multicultural Literature

Courses focus on advanced topics in literature produced by historically oppressed peoples in the United States and on specific themes and areas, such as slavery and freedom, American Indian multi-genre life-stories, or border identities. All topics include the study of literature in at least three genres (selected from poetry, fiction, nonfiction, and drama).

Prerequisite(s)/Corequisite(s): One 200 level Literature course
Course Restrictions: Junior standing
