VM 378 - Basic CinematographyCredits: 4
Introduces basic elements of the aesthetics, technology, and craft of cinematography. Students gain a working knowledge of 16mm and digital cinema and 16mm film cameras along with basic lighting and grip technologies. Film production best practices, safety and crew relations are also emphasized throughout the semester. This class certifies students to work on the Paramount Soundstage.
