Advising

The graduate program directors serve as the academic advisors to students in the Digial Communication Leadership, Political Communication, Public Relations, and Sports Communications programs, helping each student plan a course of study. The programs’ elective flexibility allows students to design programs suited to their particular interests and career aspirations.

Internships

Graduate students may participate in internship opportunities offered in Boston and at other locations, both international and national. Students may take a maximum of 4 internship credits during their program. During these internships, students receive expert guidance in applying the skills, techniques, and theories they have learned. Students have served as interns at Arnold Communications, the Weber Group, Universal Studios, Porter-Novelli, Virgin Records, Veterans Administration Hospitals, and Pfizer. Students need the permission of the graduate program director and the department chair to register for internship credits.
