VM 382 - Color: From Concept to PracticeCredits: 4 In this course participants are introduced to theories of color through hands-on experimentation, readings, and screenings. We will explore the visual and psychological nature of color as well as its relationship to culture and language. Works by a diverse range of artists will serve as case studies for the use of color to create and support mood, metaphor, and narrative in visual art and media production. All the while, participants will use color intentionally in creative projects of their own.
