Examines the ways magazine media tell stories and reach audiences through print, web, mobile, video, social media, and other platforms. Covers both editorial and business operations, with a focus on innovation in the industry, diverse creators and offerings, and legal and ethical issues. Exposes students to the variety of career opportunities in magazine media.
Course Restrictions Creative Writing or Publishing and Writing majors, or permission of Graduate Studies.
