BC 210 - Developing an Aesthetic Sensibility Through Creative and Critical Thinking

Credits: 4
This class explores beauty, taste, perception, and values. You make choices about what you like based on what is familiar, on deeply held beliefs, economics, your individual palate, and the context of that particular moment. Students study both business and creativity, with a focus on the creative elements of decision making. What matters to you and why? How do you convince an audience that it matters? How do you tell the story of what drives you aesthetically, what you think of as beautiful, valuable, pleasurable, necessary? How will you incorporate an aesthetic practice into your professional and entrepreneurial aspirations?
